Ukrainian Culture Event Dedicated to Holodomor 90th Anniversary hosted by the Ukrainian National Women’s League of America

Join the Ukrainian National Women’s League of America in New York City for a special Ukraine culture event dedicated to the commemoration of the Holodomor’s 90th anniversary, organized by UNWLA Chapter 64 in New York and St. George Ukrainian Catholic Church. The event, hosted by Valentina Shemchuk, an Honored Worker of Culture of Ukraine, and Father Ivan Lubiv of St. George Church, features an art program with performances by Choir “Moloda Dumka,” Vocal Studio “Pysanka,” Lesya Verba with an original song and bandura, and vocal talents like Yulia Holiat, Alla Ivchenko, Sofia Melnyk, Vladyslav and Ustin Chorni. The event also introduces the ethnographic project “Батьківська Хата,” Homestead, for the first time in New York. It’s a meaningful occasion to honor the memory of the Holodomor victims and celebrate Ukrainian culture.
